How long does it usually take, once I place my order, until it ships?

It usually can take about 3 days before we ship, as each BabyJanes item is handmade when you order.

My baby doesn't have much hair, what clip should I use?

We suggest either a Dainty Lace Headband, a 1-1/4" Lace Headband or a Fabric Headband. Each one is available with a variety of satin flowers, crocheted flowers and bows in many colors to choose from.

How do I know what size of headband to order?

You can either go by our estimated sizes, or you can always measure your baby's head. This is really simple and easy to do! Just take a string and start at the top of the forehead, go down, behind the ear, down around the back of the head at the neckline, then go back up, behind the other ear and then back to the forehead where you started. Then take your string and measure it to see what size would work best.

What if my child's head is in-between sizes?

Since all of our headbands are stretch fabric and lace, it is best to use the smaller size, since we do not want the headband to slip off or end up around their necks.

How do I make sure the Velcro Dots will stay in my baby's fine hair?

To help keep Velcro Dots from sliding out of the hair, put a bit of hairspray on your fingertips and rub it on her hair, right where the Velcro Dots will go. Attach the Velcro Dots by wiggling the front dot and the back dot together, with the hair in-between the dots and let dry. (You may want to check your local health food store for hairspray with natural ingredients, if baby has sensitive skin).

What type of clip is best if my baby has fine, thin hair?

For babies with super-fine hair, we suggest Pinch Clips, (with or without Velcro inside), a Snappy Clip or Velcro Dots.
